Our vision is to maintain a permanent facility that offers showers, laundry, identification documents, medical assistance, mail services, and a safe haven during the clients' stay. Clients are guided to work toward self-sufficiency and to improve their quality of life while enabling them to meet basic needs. A group of faith-based organizations and people are united together to break the cycle of homelessness. It is our goal to treat every person with dignity and respect, and to instill in them the confidence to improve their lives.
The Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless was founded in 2008 by Ann Sprague, with essential assistance from local churches and community members. What began with cold night shelters and soup kitchens has grown into a cornerstone of Okaloosa County's social services network.
CASH has served thousands of individuals and families throughout the past 18 years by providing not only a roof, but also the tools and support needed to move from crisis toward stability.
Every person who walks through our door is treated with respect and compassion, without judgment.
We are stronger together. We partner with local organizations, businesses, and neighbors to multiply our impact.
We are responsible stewards of every donation and committed to transparency in all that we do.
We don't just provide shelter — we equip residents with skills, connections, and confidence to move forward.
We believe everyone is capable of change and that a better future is possible for every person we serve.
We are called to serve. Our staff and volunteers give generously of their time and hearts every single day.
